City of Rest: the project continues!

A local contractor will continue to oversee the work as missionaries pull out for the rainy season. In October, new teams will travel from the UK to be involved in the construction.

City of Rest: a safe place to heal!

The first phase of the new City of Rest has been the perimeter wall. It is topped with shards of glass and will have razor wire added. When guests are brought by family members who can no longer handle them, or law enforcement officers, guests are chained for their own safety and for the safety of the other guests and staff. There are no medications to help them come off the drugs or deal with mental disorders. God, with much prayer and care, is the answer!

City of Rest: a beautiful place to heal!

Mission Direct in the UK is currently leading teams in the construction of a new facility for the City of Rest. The guests at the home, which is now located in the city of Freetown, are people with drug and mental disorders, many a result of the long civil war that was portrayed in the movie, Blood Diamond. The location at Grafton will be a wonderful place to heal!
