FINCH ELEMENTARY ROCKS!!!!

FINCH ELEMENTARY (MCKINNEY, TEXAS) DOES IT AGAIN!!!  For the 4th year in a row, the 5th grade class of Finch has sponsored a drive, “PENNIES FOR POLIO,” benefiting the staff and students of Leonard Cheshire School for Children with Polio, Freetown, Sierra Leone!  In the past, the school has been provided 23 mattresses, 35 sheets, 20 pillow cases, numerous 110 pound rice bags, etc…  This year Leonard Cheshire will be blessed with 440 pounds of rice each month for the next 12 months!  Praise the Lord, and our thanks to Finch students and our friend, Mary Carole Strother, for her leadership in this worthy endeavor!

FBC McKinney has left the building!!

We are praising the Lord for 500 people who "left the church building" on Sunday to "go and be" the church by "WALKING FOR WATER" to raise funds to expand the water well system at Hosetta School for Special Needs Children!!!  Actually, thousands from our church go out annually for "GO & BE SUNDAY," and are involved in ministry projects throughout the city of McKinney and beyond!  Bravo, and thank you from the depths of our hearts!
