Thank you, Kaysie!

So thankful for our friend Kaysie with Willamette Int'l! A couple of times each year she comes to Dr Gabe's dental clinic on his day off to clean teeth for our team of missionaries and theirs!  This time we discovered that Bo had an extra tooth that should not be there, and it was pushing the real one out of place. Today, as a follow up, Dr Gabe yanked it right out!  Well, he didn't "yank," but that was what I told Bo he was gonna do. HA! All went well, and Bo is already out playing. So grateful for our friends who dedicate their lives to serve the Lord in this country!!!

A new road in the works!

First pic: a small bridge we've used for years.
Second & third pics: new bridge under construction!
Forth pic: the road on either end of the bridge in progress!
Our lives will become so much easier after December when a stretch of road
that includes several bridges should be complete!
We will be able to access main roads that will cut travel time drastically!
Can't wait!

Our roads...or lack of them!

These are 4 sections of roads that we travel daily! And it's only the beginning of the official raining season!

A special treat!

While the June team was here, Catherine (far right) cut hair for 7 of us missionaries! As she did this, Allison gave neck and back massages! WooHoo!  My friend Robin commented that she had not had a real cut since August of last year before they returned from furlough. Most of the time, we trim our own.  Thank you Catherine!!!

Charlie with Bo's best friend, James!

RAINBOOTS!!!

This is the BEST suggestion we've ever made! With the early rains becoming so intense this year, we asked the team to consider rain boots. Were they ever glad they brought them!!!  We've now realized that even in the dry season they are a great idea because they are sturdy, and there are always places we go where slushy mud is a factor!  I just loved all the bright colors and patterns!!!

Tony with Waterloo Street Boys!

Sarah & Catherine w/Margaret's older girls!

You can see Margaret peeking through in the left background.
These are the older orphan girls!
They love it when our teams come!
