quote by George Bernard Shaw

"This is the true joy in life,... being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one... being a force of Nature instead of a feverish, selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy."

Great thought. Thanks for sharing.

The dir of the Singing Men of Arkansas called me last Thursday: the pianist did not work out - -would I "give them a try?" I prayed about it, and the verse from the Prayer of Jabez came immediately to mind - - this could be a way for the Lord to enlarge my territory, and in line with my husband's schedule. I said I would come on Tuesday.

It went well. I was very comfortable. Sweet spirit about the whole group - not an "attitude." It's a Christian group, doing mainly spiritual music. I came home refreshed, though my back was tired after two hours.

I will accompany them at First Methodist for the early service this Sunday a.m. (We will finish in time for everyone to fulfill responsibilities at our own churches.) I have not committed for the long haul yet, but am continuing on for a bit to see what direction I receive from the Lord.

Thought you would be interested!
(and you, Julie.)

Saw a room purifier on tv today that some teachers use in their classrooms - very small, plugs in. This one was by K-Ceuticals, the PCI-Aire. Thought of you in your room. Not cheap, but there are other brands not so expensive. There is some amazing technology that removes most mold from the air. I am considering getting something for home, and for Chuck to plug in in motel rooms when he's on the road.

Have a good day in the Lord,
Ang
